Part 1: Emails
Introduction
Using email for marketing advertising on the internet is illegal and (or) considered spam? Not at all if your main concern is respect for the people you send your messages and that you use techniques that are appropriate.
I remember a time when webmasters sent thousands of emails an hour to strangers hoping they become loyal customers. Worse, they were dismayed at the poor results of their email campaign that generated reactions invariably highly virulent discontent.
Today, we, you and me, we distinguish beginners who believe and do good for more experienced who seek to harm in spamming our mailbox.
I'm going to show you how you can be effective, legally, by sending promotional emails and attract visitors interested in your products or services. Two other parties after it also relates to emails, a broad topic to be addressed in detail both the benefits can be important to you.
Follow up:
Step 1: warning
To be sure there is no ambiguity in marketing your position: you do not spam. In other words, do not send emails to strangers who have never claimed or accepted. Advertisements are not allowed - the worst marketing method you can use. It will destroy your reputation and therefore that of your business within seconds just by clicking a button. If you have been attracted by the act of collecting emails using one of many existing software before bombarding their owners singing the praises of your site, forget your traffic.
For your information, an email marketing campaign that generates more than 0.01% of discontent among the people who have voluntarily subscribed to a newsletter must be corrected immediately. Imagine the percentage of malcontents who receive an email that they have not claimed. Besides, the deposits of possible complaints since you are violating the law. So my first advice is: no spam. Forget the mirage of millions of emails that are useless.
Step 2: Use your contacts
Look in your email program or online service you use (yahoo, hotmail, etc ...), your list of contacts. There are, certainly, at least one person on earth who would visit your site. Family, friends, relatives or business, you undoubtedly know people already potentially receptive. Start by sending them an informational message.
But before we go any further, how should your email should look like?
Use this time without pictures or html code. Whether your email is sent to a cousin or a supplier, the message must be concise and simple in form. The reason is that your message if it contains too many html and graphics, may be considered spam by the software and messaging services. If so, your email will be immediately transferred to the trash folder or "spam" or never distributed for security reasons. To verify that the content of your email password with the success conditions of spam, I suggest you test it on this free site: http://www.spamcheck.sitesell.com/offer687.html
There is another reason you should prefer simplicity. A visitor needs an average of 10 seconds to make a decision. So the shorter the better. There are ways to ensure the quality of an email in rich graphics and html coding. In fact, when you begin to create emails with images, effects of style and specially formatted text, I'll show you how to be sure they are readable by your recipients. Your email through sometimes dozens of different servers around the world before arriving in the mail box that the user does not perhaps the same mail client as you. Stay safe. If your recipients can not read what you offer, you pass for an amateur. We want to avoid that at all taken. For the moment let us therefore keep using traditional text and nothing but text.
You should also customize your message: "Dear Customer" does not work as well as "Dear Mr Smith" or "Dear Claire" or "Dear Mama." You must draw your prospect and make him feel that you pay attention to him. These people get dozens of spam every day to remind them they have flyers in their mailboxes. Out from the crowd by name.
Step 3: Find other emails
Your contact list will necessarily be too short. Here's how to legally obtain other emails.
a. The Opt-in
It is a system where people agree to receive offers by email to others. They are willing even if they have never visited your site. They represent what is called your "downline". In return you agree to receive emails from strangers. Call it your "Upline". It is simply a message exchange emails. Everybody wins. For example, you may be interested in a promotional trip and your correspondent on designer shoes. But this is not its only advantage!
How to put the place?
You must of course focus on your downline, ie increase the number of people who will receive your emails. How it works? Consider the following example: you send a message to someone named Mr. Smith. Mr Smith, has a downline of 10 people. I have a very good news for you. Your message will be sent to all members of his downline and everyone below them. Take a picture of a tree with many branches. You inject the sap in the trunk and spreads everywhere. So you potentially thousands of prospects on hand requiring emails!
Two things: this is not magic and it will require from you a little promotional effort will be amply rewarded. Your downline can reach a staggering number.
