The aspect of the article that I thought was key was regarding developing sustainable marketing programs. The real power of marketing is in communicating a brand over a sustained duration in order to inform potential buyers so that when they are ready to make a purchase decision, they are aware of your brand and value proposition. One shot marketing efforts be it an advertisement, email blast, or direct mail drop; are often more disruptive than they are informative. Finding tools like SEO, intelligent domain naming, etc. are solid techniques that support the sustainable growth of a company through establishment of a solid foundation on which to market.
